Uncle Tony and Miss Gwyn are engaged!

It's always fun to have Miss Gwyn and Uncle Tony visit! It looks like we have a wedding to look forward to. The kids will start practicing their roles as ring bearers and flower petal droppers.

Baking holiday treats

Skye did a fantastic job making cookies. We made gingerbread men like you've never seen before...we had so much fun with the little guys. I even created ginger-yogi's. Placing the cookie men in various yoga postures. Hey, I should have some fun with this too!

Merry Christmas everyone!

One of many holiday visitors, we were very excited to see Jacqueline. Our sweet friend from Dayton, OH.

Trick or Treat

A vampire, Superman and a ladybug walk into a bar...have you heard that one? What a fun night these guys had. Stella couldn't believe her taste buds after sampling a sucker.

Princess Stella is One!

This was taken on her birthday, she absolutely loves her Dora car. She is now walking and can zoom up and down the stairs all by herself. She is determined to keep up with her brothers.

Behind our house---we kayak!

This is the view from the kayak that Zev and I were paddling around in. As you can see, the lake is very close to our house AND I can tell you that 911 responds very quickly when called about a possible drowning. Luckily, it was just a scare that we encountered when we couldn't locate Skye for a few minutes. He was walking along the shore but we couldn't see him. Phew, after my heart started back up, we all had a very serious conversation about the water. I can tell you, I never want to experience that feeling again. A lesson for us for sure.

Come visit!

Well, I know that it has been awhile since I have updated the blog. There is just soooo much to settle when you move...with three kids...and your house isn't done...and school starts early...and your learning your way around...you know. Crazy busy. So here I sit finally feeling like I am slowly pulling it together and after receiving a few "friendly" reminders to update I try to post a few lines to you. Pictures! Pictures! You say.
Here you go---for now.

Stella Soup!

What's cookin'?
Tooth Fairy news:
Zev has lost both of his front, bottom teeth. Skye enjoyed his first visit to the dentist, saying it "tickled" and tasted like strawberries during his cleaning. And Stella has her first tooth coming in.

Moving news:
We sold our house! Only on the market for two weeks, (thank goodness, the showings and open houses can be hectic!) and a young couple expecting their first baby put a contract on it.

Now we can focus on the Florida move, still set for July.

Our Grandma Rose

Grandma Rose passed peacefully in her sleep this past weekend. We will miss her kind heart and sweet smile.

Bounce!

Stella loves the bouncy swing, just as her brothers did. She laughs and laughs when she goes up and down.

Bubble beard Santas

Good clean fun in the tub!

Four months old!

I had my four month checkup and the dr. says I'm looking good...which I already knew. I weigh just over 15lbs (80%tile) and love to squeal and grab anything that comes near me, especially Mom's hair. My brothers make me smile and give me kisses all the time. I have started to eat rice cereal, well I spit it up---but I'm giving it a try.

Cheers to a New Year and new adventures!

Exciting news...we are moving to Florida! After much thought, going back and forth, forth and back, we decided that we would like to try a taste of the Tropics. Now that Andrew is done with school and the kids are still little, it seems like the right time. We look forward to our friends and family visiting, we are taking reservations now for next winter--ha ha. We are going to be in the city of Ruskin, 25 miles south of Tampa and three miles away from a beach. The kids are thrilled with the idea of swimming in the ocean and building sand castles. I love that it can be a bike ride to get there. Estimated move date: Late July.
